Help Ambler win £5,000 to transform the forest

05 Jan Help Ambler win £5,000 to transform the forest

Ambler has been shortlisted by Tesco to win £5,000 to transform the school and Children’s Centre forest into an amazing outdoor learning space.

The supermarket’s Bags of Help grant scheme (run with Groundworks) asks customers to vote for their favourite local projects.

The project with the most votes wins up to £5,000 of money raised from the government’s 5p bag charge, second place up to £3,000 and third place up to £1,000.

So we need your support and help to make sure we win the full £5,000!

It’s easy to get involved, whenever you visit your local Tesco, just ask for a token and vote for our “Wildwood Kids’ Adventure”. You only have to pop the token into the Ambler slot, with no minimum spend and you don’t even have to buy a plastic bag.

The forest is already used by the school, the Children’s Centre and our outreach services, so the planned improvements will benefit many people.

Please get voting and ask all your local friends and family to get behind the Ambler WILDWOOD KIDS’ ADVENTURE in your local Tesco store this January.

Just ask for a token every time you shop at Tesco and Tesco Express stores, including the ones on Seven Sisters’ Road, Highbury Corner, Newington Green, New North Road and Drayton Park.

The scheme closes on Saturday 28th January so please vote early and vote often! If you have any further questions or would like to help just email FoA on
